"This photo was taken on my lanai. It was the anole lizard's bright yellow/green color (most of them you see are brown) and perfectly vertical pose that caught my eye. Poor lighting and shooting hand-held produced a soft focus except for the area around the anole's eye. I did a bit of cropping to better balance the color and weight of the background and strengthen the black eye as the focal point.
"I captured this image with a Nikkor AF-S DX, 55-300mm lens at F7.1 and ISO100. The canvas print was initially made to hang in my living room, but was recently entered in the "Members Only, All Media Spring Show" at the Venice Art Center in Venice, FL.
