Our most contemporary finish, “gallery wrapped” canvases are designed to create a striking display without a picture frame. Your canvas will be sealed with our 100+ year protective top coat, then skillfully mounted on thick, heavy-duty 1-1/2" solid wood stretcher bars. Your image will wrap around the sides – or you can choose “reflected” or color edges. Gallery wraps look great from any angle!

Our “stretched” canvases ship frame-ready − sized to fit into the vast majority of frames and mouldings you’ll find at your local framer and major art supply stores. After sealing your canvas with our 100+ year protective top coat, it will be professionally mounted on standard 3/4" solid wood stretcher bars, with your final image displayed entirely on the front side.

Our most versatile finish, when you choose the “unstretched” option, your image will be printed on our premium archival canvas at the size you specify – with approx. 2" of additional unprinted canvas on all four sides to accommodate stretching. After sealing your canvas with our 100+ year protective top coat, it will be carefully rolled and sleeved in a sturdy mailing tube.

If you have a “painterly” vision for your photo and want to mimic the look of fine art, consider adding APC's Brush Strokes technique to your order. Brush Strokes mimics the look of an oil painting and works beautifully with all types of photos - and virtually any subject. By carefully controlling the technique, our technicians make sure that your new "painting" looks the way you'd expect. Like a “real” painting, fine details will be muted, but critical elements (like facial features on people and pets) will be largely preserved so that your subjects remain easily recognizable, even as the overall technique creates its masterful illusion. Many labs do not concern themselves with the quality of your images prior to sending them to print. At APC, a staff of imaging experts is at your disposal, upon your request, and at no additional charge. If you would like basic retouching services including exposure correction, color correction, red eye removal, date stamp removal, and removal of minor dust, scratches and blemishes, choose the “APC TouchUp™” during the order process.

For those who desire no retouching of their images, a “hands off” option, Direct-To-Canvas™, is also prominently displayed during the order process.

When the “look” of fine art isn't enough, and you long for the “feel” of genuine raised brush strokes, embellish your canvas masterpiece with APC's luxurious Hand-Applied Texturizing Gel Coat. Our artists, using various medium bristle fine art paint brushes, painstakingly paint a glossy clear coat over your entire canvas, placing emphasis on the lines present in the major elements in your image. The end result is real peaks and valleys that you can feel with your fingers and see clearly as they reflect any source of light. This ehnancement affords the most authentic "painterly" look for your canvas – especially when you combine it with APC’s Brush Strokes technique.

Unlike photographic prints and art prints framed under glass, photo and art canvases have traditionally been created, sold and displayed with the back side of the canvas and stretcher frame visible. Canvas is a material that benefits from proper air circulation, and most customers find the traditional look appealing as it displays the craftsmanship behind the canvas material, the stretcher frame and the stretching process itself.

Many professional photographers, however, prefer to present their clients with an attractive dust cover, offering a finished look more in line with traditionally framed photo products. For this reason, APC has created a canvas-compatible Dust Cover option for its Gallery Wrapped canvas prints.

The Dust Cover option includes:

• Durable black backing material firmly adhered to the back side of the stretcher frame to within 1/8-inch of the edges, concealing the stretcher bars, canvas and staples. 
• One or two sawtooth hangers (depending on canvas size) attached to the top edge of the back side of the stretcher frame. The finished canvas is ready to hang immediately upon receipt.
• Clear rubber bumpers adhered to the two bottom corners on the back side of the stretcher frame to balance the off-the-wall distance created by attachment of the sawtooth hanger(s). The bumpers also resist movement of the canvas against the surface upon which it is hung.
• Four discreet, strategically placed holes (approx. 1/4-inch in diameter) present in the dust cover to allow air to circulate and reduce the possibility for creation of a potentially damaging micro-environment between the canvas and the backing material.

Professional photographers and artists can save time and reduce expenses by using our Blind Drop Ship service to have orders shipped directly to their customers by APC. 

This pro-level service incorporates several features:

• Your name, company name (if applicable), and address will appear on the return address label of your order's shipping carton(s) instead of APC's.
• APC branding will not be present on the canvas stretcher frame(s), dust cover(s) if applicable, or any enclosed materials.
• For Gallery Wrapped canvases ordered without the Dust Cover option, a “generic” hanging hardware/instruction packet will be substituted for APC's.
• We will include, at no additional charge, up to four ounces of your own promotional items and literature such as Certificates Of Authenticity, catalogs/brochures, invoices/packing slips, or other items you supply. APC will keep the materials you provide on file, include them with your shipments, and notify you when stock runs low. Additionally, we will color laser print up to two custom 8.5 x 11 enclosures for each order if supplied in PDF format within 24 hours of order placement.
