Gallery Wrap Edges (Choose One)

Gallery Wrapped

Image Wrap

When you choose "Image Wrap," the top, bottom and sides of your image will wrap around the edges of the 1-1/2" stretcher frame.

Choose "Image Wrap" only when ordering large gallery wraps or when you have substantial "expendable background" areas on all four sides of your photo.

Reflected Edges

Reflected Edges

This option preserves the original composition of your photo or artwork on the face of the finished canvas. The outermost portions of your image (at the top, bottom and sides) will be "reflected" to create additional image area specifically for the gallery wrap edges.

► In typical eye-level installations of gallery wrapped canvases, the top and bottom are rarely seen – so it will be the sides that are critical.  Landscapes and many other photos look great with mirrored edges, but proceed with caution if people, pets or other objects that have the potential to look odd when mirrored happen to fall at or very near the edges of your original photo.

Color Edges

When you choose "Color Edges," APC's digital artists will apply black, white – or any color you specify – to the edges of your gallery wrapped canvas. This option is perfect if you prefer the clean, modern look of solid color edges, or if you need all of your image – as it was originally composed – to remain on the front side of your finished canvas.

► If you choose "Color Edges," please use the "Comments" section in Step 3 of the order form to specify black, white, or any color from your image that you'd like us to match (i.e. "match red from woman's sweater").
