Impasto could be considered a more "abstract" version of our Oil Paint technique. We intensify the virtual "paint" effect with thicker and more texturized "brush strokes" that, due to stronger lighting effects, remain easily discernible even when viewed from a distance.

Impasto works beautifully with all types of photos - and virtually any subject. By carefully controlling the technique, our gifted technicians make sure that your new "painting" looks the way you'd expect. While fine details will be lost in an attractive sea of thick "brush strokes" - just as you'd expect in a "real" impasto painting - we will apply pointed "focus" to critical elements so that your subjects remain recognizable, even as the overall technique creates its masterful illusion.
